Drill Chuck for Woodworkers with 2MT Arbor

This #2 Morse Taper Mount is compatible with the headstocks and tailstocks of Delta, Jet, PSI, and other Midi lathes. The 1/2-inch diameter 3-jaw mechanism can be used to secure small turnings or pen mandrels at the headstock, or a drill bit in the tailstock. It accepts a 1/4-20" draw bolt (not supplied) for safety, and can hold drill bits up to 1/2-inch in diameter. The drill chuck mounted in the #2 MT can be used in either the headstock or tailstock, and it tightens with the included chuck key for excellent grip. It can be easily removed with a knock-out bar.

This 3-Jaw Chuck set includes the 1/2" Drill Chuck, #2 Morse Taper Arbor, and Jaw Tightening Key. It is designed to mount into the headstock or tailstock of any lathe that accepts #2MT accessories. The #2MT Arbor accepts a 1/4" x 20tpi draw bolt, which is not included. The chuck can be easily removed with a knock-out bar, making it great for holding a variety of items, such as drill bits, small turnings, dowels, and pen mandrel shafts.
