The tool can also be quickly converted into a disassembly press by taking out the plastic stop component.

The pen disassembly features include: 1) a unique ram design that easily pushes parts out of the pen tube; 2) the ability to press out parts with over 250 lbs of pressure; 3) the (6) disassembly rods that can handle nearly all tube diameters and parts configurations, including pen tips and clips; 4) a dedicated disassembly bushing for 7mm mechanisms that allows for the disassembly of any 7mm pen; and 5) a soft-grip tube and V-profile clamp that provide excellent parts protection during the disassembly process. To quickly convert the tool back into a pen assembly press, simply put the plastic stop component back in.
