PSI Woodworking LDC2MT Live Tailstock Drill Chuck

The conversion kit allows your lathe's #2MT dead tailstock to be transformed into a live tailstock with a 1/2" drill chuck mounted. The included #2 Morse Taper arbor enables the kit to be securely mounted to the tailstock, and the ball bearings facilitate smooth spinning of the drill chuck.

Once installed, the tailstock becomes a live tailstock, capable of accepting a variety of workpieces, including mandrels, dowels, tenons, or any shaft up to 1/2" in diameter. This feature makes it ideal for providing an additional secure mount for the workpiece from the tailstock end, allowing for the centering and gripping of spindles or dowels.

It's important to note that this conversion kit is not intended for drilling purposes. For drilling capabilities, the TM32 model is available separately.
