This woodturning project kit includes a hardware and bushing set only, and a lathe is required to 'turn' it into finished pens. Blanks, drill bits, and all other turning tools and supplies are not included.
The kit features (3) 30 Caliber Bolt Action Bullet Cartridge Ballpoint Pen Woodturning Project Kits, with one each in Gun Metal (PKCP8020), Chrome (PKCP8010), and Gold (PKCP8000). Additionally, the bushing set (PKCP3000BU) needed to make the pens is included.
Each pen kit boasts a 3/8" single tube design, a patented bolt action mechanism, and a Parker-style ballpoint black refill. The minimum blank size needed to turn is 3/4" x 3/4" x 2-1/2". While pen blanks are not included, the realistic bolt action handle smoothly advances and retracts to securely lock the refill in place. Each kit also includes a bolt action rifle clip, a replica 30 caliber cartridge, and a rose gold bullet tip.
